Dial-Up

Dial-up Internet access is a type of Internet connectivity that operates through a standard telephone line. By running the telephone line to a modem device in the computer and configuring the computer to dial a specific phone number, the computer is granted Internet access.Customers are charged according to predefined prices determined by Telecom Egypt.

The following two models of the Dial-up product are offered:

Revenue Share

Etisalat ISP offers dial-up service to Virtual ISPs by leasing a set of 0777xxxx telephone numbers to its partners and operates them through its own network pipelines. This model is based on sharing revenue between Etisalat ISP and Virtual ISPs for the consumed hours on the dial-up network which are collected from TE and distributed with a contracted percentage between VISPs and Etisalat ISP. Customers are charged according to predefined prices determined by Telecom Egypt.

Express0555

Etisalat ISP offers a dial-up service to the end users all over Egypt through its own brand numbers Xpress0555 (07770555, 07070555, 09080555) that dial into our network pipelines in which feeds into the Internet. Consumers using the service are charged according to the time they spend online as per Telecom Egypt official tariffs.
